FEES, REFERRALS & REBATES

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW

SELF REFERRALS

You have the option to access our psychology services without a GP referral. While this means you won’t be eligible for Medicare assistance, you may still be able to claim a rebate if you have appropriate private health coverage. We welcome individuals who choose to self-refer and are committed to providing quality care and support.

GP REFERRALS

If you prefer to obtain a referral from your GP, they will conduct an assessment and create a Mental Health Treatment Plan (MHTP) for you. To ensure you can claim your Medicare rebate, please bring your referral to your first session or request your GP to send a copy before your appointment via email. Additionally, your GP can assist in exploring other funding options such as WorkCover and DVA if applicable. Your GP acts as a valuable resource in coordinating your care and accessing relevant support.

NDIS & DISABILITY SERVICES

Terese is capable of offering psychological services to individuals with self-managed or third-party managed plans.

Please fill in our NDIS Referral form for an easy connection with us for NDIS participants or disability support services.

FEES & REBATES

If you possess a valid Mental Health Treatment Plan (MHTP), you qualify for a maximum of 10 psychology sessions per calendar year that are eligible for a rebate.

Often, financial constraints can hinder individuals from seeking psychological assistance. Terese believes in enhancing the accessibility of services and offers discounted rates for healthcare cardholders.

Please contact us to discuss your specific fee requirements. Please note that evening and weekend appointments may incur an additional charge.

IMPORTANT: Medicare mandates that the full session fee must be paid at the time of the appointment. Medicare will subsequently deposit the rebate into your designated bank account, which may take 1-2 days.

CANCELLATION POLICY: We understand that unexpected circumstances arise. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, kindly provide at least 24 hours/1 business day’s notice via phone, text, or email. Failure to do so may result in a late cancellation fee being applied.
